Lowe Mill Art and Entertainment district in Huntsville, Alabama. Awesome place to network with fellow artists! On this day, I hung out with Everett Cox (master sculptor!). Everett gave me a lesson in cutting, sandblasting, and welding metal.

"Thumb"

To all of my faithful viewers and readers....I have not lost inspiration. I did, however, almost loose my thumb. A word to the wise...when using gas hedge trimmers....always, always, always, use gloves! Secondly...do not use your hand as a "rake". Third, if you do decide to use your hand as a "rake"...do not "rake" toward the blade! It hurts! After a trip to the emergency room, my thumb is healing nicely...and I hope to soon be working in my shop again in a few weeks. :)

"Square Peg". $20 for hoops plus $20 for ear pendants. Square copper wire hoops with silver studs. All "ear pendants" are inter-changable and are made to order. Design your own one of a kind pendant! Silver hoops can also be used for ear pendants.

Busy

I have not stopped making jewelry! I've been busy fulfilling orders for Christmas! However, it is now January and I've been working on new stuff. I hope to photograph and post new pieces in two weeks.

"Chapter Three" - Sterling silver and copper pendant with "antique" patina- $40. This was a commissioned piece made for a great friend who is beginning to enjoy retirement after many, many years of work. The piece measures approximately an 1 1/2" long X 1" wide.

"Heritage Hall Docent Luncheon"

I was honored to be the guest speaker at the quarterly museum docent luncheon today at the Heritage Hall Museum in Talladega. I enjoyed speaking with the museum docents about how I design, make, and market my jewelry. I appreciate the opportunity and I enjoyed meeting everyone!
