About Me

Masue Yevette Pearce Designs: Alabama, United States; I hope to create pieces that will give inspiration to others. I am inspired by everyday things...by animals, flowers, buildings, weather, people, and music. I try to create pieces that are symbolic reflections of my life. I also like to create pieces that are meaningful and special to the wearer. I love working with copper. It is an evolving and unpredictable metal. When heat is applied, it changes colors that are beyond the control of the artist. I find this to be pretty cool. It reacts to humidity, light, temperature, and body chemistry. It becomes this living and evolving organism that is beautiful, flawed, ever changing, unpredicatable, and full of surprises...much like people.
